Mosaic Monday ~Mountain Wild Flowers
On a recent trip to Paradise at Mt. Rainier National Park the wildflowers were blooming! There's a relatively short window so it was great to be there when they were going strong.
The evergreen backdrop really plays up the color of the blooms
Hard to capture, but there were all sorts of flowers growing along the running water
I really wanted to get a closer look but the thought of me tumbling into the icy water held me back!
Pearly everlasting, Indian paint brush and a type of spirea are among those in this floriferous mass
I just love this spot with the little pond in the background
And another angle of the pond
And another...I could have snapped all day!
Here is a close up of some wild asters
Asters and Lupine
Close up of the Lupine
Wild carrot I believe..but I could be wrong!
Paradise Lodge in the distance
I believe Mountain Bog Gentian
Aster close up
I'm not sure what the red berries are ...but I loved this red, white and blue trio
This is my contribution to the awesome weekly event, Mosaic Monday, over at Little Red House. Go check out all of the other beautiful mosaics.

Beautiful mosaic Suzy! Love all the wildflowers but especially the photo of Mt Rainier - the reflection in the water is just awesome!
Oh Suzy, I will be coming back again and again to look at your beautiful mosaic! The reflection in the water of Mt. Rainier is fabulous!! I could definitely spend a month in your area :-) Will you take me in? LOL

This place is well named. It certainly is Paradise. Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos.
Wow those trees are amazing!! Wonderful mosaic and photos!!
Okay, this settles it - I am definitely coming with Barb to visit you and we are coming during wildflower season!
We didn't see anything like this in the mountains of CO...too dry? Your center shot of the mountain reflecting in the lake and then surrounded by all the wildflower shots just makes this the perfect mosaic...you should frame it! What a beautiful, beautiful sight the mountains and flowers must have been!
Hi!
Beautiful, Stunning shots!! Love all the colors! Have a great day!

Fantastic mosaic, Suzy ... Mt. Rainier is on my "must see" list. Love your pictures of wildflowers. ... I've developed a real appreciation for wildflowers; they truly are beautiful.
I can see why you liked the little pond, what an idyllic setting.
Oh my goodness, Suzy, what beautiful photos! There are all so gorgeous but my favorite is the one in the upper left of your mosaic that you also shared other views of below with so many gorgeous wildflowers and the pines and mountains in the background. Wow - just wow!
These photos are picture book worthy! I'm jealous. I lived in the northwest and miss it terribly. Especially now when it is still so hot here in the south and you all (I haven't gone ya'll yet)get tohave autumn.
Gorgeous, Suzy, gorgeous mosaic and gorgeous scenery! Love this one!
Oh, Suzy, those are just gorgeous! Such a beautiful area.
Your photos are wonderful, Suzy. I would love to see those gorgeous wild flowers for myself. Maybe someday.
Paradise lodge looks like a great place to stay and view the wildflowers. I am so lucky to have peaked in today to see this beautiful area of our country. Thanks for sharing these photos with me.
