And Jigs had a new friend to love on (or chew up!)
I'm not a fan of the little chalky conversational hearts, but found these chocolate ones which were just as cute
I had a sweet red dessert for the occasion
And got a new addition to my flower garden
Flashforward a few months to July and the flowers had reached the top! Valentine's Day kept on giving!

I loved your post - I have never seen those choc conv hearts and will need to look for them next year. My favorite is Jigs with his look alike - did it survive or get chewed up? The clematis is gorgeous, I've been browsing the online clematis catalogs - the obsession continues.
Looks like Jigs' 'friend' is almost as big as he is!!

Love flashbacks ... always interesting to see what I remember and what I don't. I remember your tasty-looking strawberry shortcake. And who could forget the picture of Jigs and friend? And I even remember the darling chocolate conversation hearts.
But I don't remember the before and after picture of your new garden addition. It's amazing what a difference a few months make in the garden.
